Meeting her here- in this park seemed like a good idea, a neutral place for a neutral meeting. Parks like this usually relaxed him, wide and spacious with cozy attributes near the edges and lush green grass;rather quiet atmosphere. If this much was true, why was the blonde shifting so uncomfortably when his eyes met hers?
In preparation for this meeting he spent the early afternoon looking up her photos on his iPad to get familiar with her looks. Her photos matched reality for she had pale skin, smooth lengthy auburn hair dusted over one shoulder, almond shaped eyes and thin, pink tinted lips. In fact, he found her much prettier in person- she was like a living doll bathing in the moonlight.
His eyes met hers again, this time he attempted to mirror her smile but fell flat of a sincerity. It gained a skeptical look from the women but other than that it wasn’t commented on and he allowed himself to remain blank faced.
“So, are you ready now?”
“Ready?” He repeated, his tone relaying a great deal of confusion and got an amused look from the girl sitting beside him. Silently, he wondered if she was using a kind of word play to confuse him. “Noona…” He groaned, pressing his lips together.
“The picture Ren!” Giggling, she adjusting her onyx colored hat. “I can’t believe you’ve forgotten already.”
The blonde paled at his ignorance, having forgotten that this was the point of their meeting. He didn’t know how to explain to her that he momentarily zoned out. In a lack of words, he scooted closer to her, sliding his iPad out of his bag and onto his lap. He fiddled with its settings, holding it up and out in front of them, holding one side while she held the other.
With his free hand he gestured for her to lean closer, to make the picture cuter. And while she put on an innocent child like face, the blonde put on a flat yet meaningful expression and snapped the picture. The c-curve of her fingers distracted the blonde momentarily. They exchanged glances, and his free hand met with hers in this same shape, forming a heart. Turning back to the camera, he noticed the look on her face; a half parted silly grin with her brows raised.
The blonde began to laugh, his own face contorting to match hers, and although he pursed his lips, it came out as a prominent duck face instead of a pout. It was much more fun to take silly pictures, why hadn’t he thought it up before? After taking the picture, he lowered the object and began to laugh covering his mouth with the back of his hand. “Ah, what was that noona? You looked like you were going to gobble me like Pac-Man.”
She pursed her lips in a way that the blonde was unable to tell if he had actually offended her not. Seeking a closer look he saw she wasn’t as serious as he thought. “Gobble, gobble.” He leaned in puckering his lips as the sound left him, his lips aiming for hers.
"Ow!” He pulled back, a hand covering his pained nose. Though he was hurt, Sora seemed anything bu,t now laughing and poking fun at the silly little blonde. A sheepish grin crossed his features. He felt a wave of embarrassment wash over him, the wave much more prevalent than the moonlight they sat underneath. He didn’t know how to ease the awkwardness, but this didn’t mean that he wouldn’t try.
“Want another~?…”
